1) What areas does Willow Homes Build in?

Willow Homes builds new homes, remodels existing homes, and builds additions in many areas of central Birmingham including Homewood, Vestavia, Mountain Brook, Crestwood, Avondale and surrounding areas.  Depending on the scope and size of your project, we may be the right fit for you, even if your property resides outside of those areas. 2) How much does Willow Homes build price per square foot?

Due to the nature of our work, which includes remodels, additions, and new builds in multiple markets, project pricing by square footage can be wide ranging and largely Client driven.  The most straightforward way to determine your particular job cost is to schedule a time with our estimating team. They are experienced in each market and able to help you determine if the scope of the job makes sense for your particular area and meets your project parameters.

3) What type of work does Willow Homes do?

Willow Homes can help you from A to Z with your home, either with our in-house Team or through our strategic partnerships.  We want our Clients to be able to solve all of their real estate needs through one simple process. Willow Homes is a Design-Build Firm experienced in New Builds, Home Renovations, and Additions.  We can design home plans in-house with our award-winning drafting team or we can work with your Architect, should you already have plans drawn. Our partner company, Willow Interiors, assists our Clients in all aspects of designing and furnishing their homes.  Arthouse, our real estate partner, is experienced in helping our clients find property suitable for a renovation or a new build. They can even help you sell property should you need to. We also have great financing options with McGowin-King Mortgage.

4) Do you have houses for Sale?

5) I already have house plans. Can Willow Homes work with my Architect?

6) How long does the process take?

Our process is largely Client driven and can depend on the size and scope of the project.  If you already have plans, our in-house estimating team can begin pricing and estimating immediately.  If Willow is designing your project, we can generally produce a set of plans to your specifications in approximately 30 days, depending on the amount of Client revisions.  

Each Client receives time with our professional team of designers in congruence with the size of their job.  Depending on size and scope of the job, Client availability, and speed of decision making, selections are generally made in under 30 days.  Build times for each project tend to vary based on size of the project. 7) How does financing work?

Once your plans are complete , priced with scope of work defined, and you have an executed contract with Willow you can provide these documents to your lender so that they may begin processing your construction loan.  Each lender’s processing times can vary and they are best suited to provide that timeline to you. Generally, this process can take 4 to 8 weeks.
